If you had 2000$-3000$?

What set up would you get if you had 2000$-3000$? I have a pc and nuendo 2.0 but will probably use Cubase sx3 soon.
1. Intreface?
2.Pre-amps?
3.Software?

Great River MP2-NV and a couple Audio Technica 40 series mics.

Or

Pendulum Quartet and a Beyer M160

Or (if you don't mind mid level quality)

Presonus Digimax96 and spend the rest on as many good quality mics as you can

but I primarily do rap/R&b and the MP2 shines on Vox and the bass di is killer.

now you need a mic, speakers, h/w or s/w efx, eq, dynamic control etc.

Wow, you spent $1200 on nuendo, and now you are going to downgrade to cubase. Money to burn I guess
