I just got into playing about 6 months ago. I need a wah pedal. Any advice?

Depends on if you want an auto wah or a standard wah pedal. The old Crybaby wah pedals were good the new Digitech wah pedals are also good.

The Vox wah is pretty decent. I've been using the same one for about 10 years.

I have the Demon...love it. Adjustable "Q", frequency and level make it very flexible. The pedal has two way/modes of operation..."push the button" on the side to turn the wah on or, you can set it so that moving the pedal automatically turns it on. Another nifty thing about it is you can adjust the tension of the pedal depending on if you like a loose'n'-floppy or a stiffy.
Pretty cool pedal and at a decent price. I've had it for I'd say about a year now with no issues.

I have a Morley "Steve Vai Bad Horsey II". Has two modes, Steve Vai's setting, or dial your own contour. Optical sensor, no pot, no switch. Very cool, love it way better than the Cry Baby, which I've used plenty.
