Metal dude
Ibanez make nice guitars (and shitty ones to, so dont come responding about how they suck) I wish they put better electronics into them . ive been playing ibanez's for 8 years and i am on my 4th one, every one has had noisy or scratty pots and pickup selectors. Ive played all kinds of guitars, but i feel most confortable on an Ibanez. I wish i never sold my Maxxas. U.S.A made, reversible headstock, sharkfin inlays, 2 humbuckers. Sharp lookin guitar(alex skolnick from Testament played one) i sold it because it needed new electronics and didnt have the money and i wanted to get a 7 string. I got a usa saber (mohoganey boby) also. to wrap it up never sell a guitar you like ,to get another one,it'll come back to and you will say " i wish i never sold my".......

I just got back into my S-series (natural mahogany body) after 2 years of literally not touching it. I remember when I was trying them out, I loved the pickups. I still love them. They're the QM1 and QM2, ibanez manufacture hums, with a some really bright single coil in the middle. I remember at the time I bought it 90% of the S- quitars had Dimarzios, and they sounded too sharp to me. But I really dig this guitar, the sound is so fat, and it weighs so much less than any of my other guitars. Haven't noticed any probs with electronics, and I played it live for a few years, and now in front of the computer all the time.

I wish they still made guitars like this, I'd buy more. My only complaint is the friggin Floyd Rose, I just hate clipping the strings and locking them in, and the laborious tuning process. If I could retrofit it with a Wilkinson, I would.

rg550

I play the RG550 bought it about 5 years ago for about $500.
It has the vintage neck and bridge pickups and I love the sound, it's perfect for what I play.
Now it has some scratches and stuff on the body, but the elctronics, and the rest of the guitar work excellent, no scratchy pot's or selector switch.
