I find it interesting that I posted the exact same post (my first post) on 2 other message boards and got feedback. And for you guys I have to spell it out? What are you 2nd graders? It is not that hard to understand. Drop links = leave feedback and I'll return it. Honest feedback. Not that BS "not bad" crap. I don't see why out of like 40 posts (even after explaining what everything meant) I only got like 3 or so responses on my work. Who made this thread? Therefore it's mine. And yes I have posted in other threads giving other people feedback in the DJ/Hip-Hop/Rap/Beats section. And that whole "get over myself" thing. What are you talking about? Because I call the thread mine? On another forum people say "get out my thread" and they don't get hassled because everybody knows what they mean. Again I say, lay off.

Also, RAMI is a fuckin' artist.... so don't give him any shit. Dude plays every instrument and sings on all of his songs - and they're all good songs. So take a seat and listen and stop looking for respect where you haven't earned it. Compared to RAMI's music your electronic diddlings don't amount to much. It's not to say they aren't well constructed, but they don't stand a chance artistically to RAMI's music. You are talking up your tinkertoys and blowing off the advice of a real craftsman.
Rap music and it's concomitant culture are at times very pretentious, like Metal was in the 1980s. It makes me laugh when I see a rap video with some rapper rapping to a beat he didn't write, to music he didn't write or play, talking about how great he is and holding a guitar when it's clear he couldn't play it if you put a gun to his head. This forum isn't about "tha game" or making money or being tough or other generally pretentious bullshit. This is where the rubber meets the road, my freind. If your skills don't stack up you are going to get called on it. It has been established that beyond programming beats your musical talent seems to be somewhat limited. Don't puff up and get mad - dig in and learn. Everybody starts somewhere. Be still for a minute and listen.
