I used the Korg Triton, a vinyl crackle, and the MPC on the drums. What you think?

I am not great on strictly keyboard beats but I did what I could with this to make shit a little different than my normal.

Drums on the mpc, triton did all instruments/layers/melodies, and a crackle sample to go with the one violen melody.

Thanks, you guys can drop a link to some of your work I will check out.

What would the 50% shuffle do? I am just curious.

Well, your drum beat is a 64 note pattern, right?

After the third and the seventh snare, there's two kicks following each other. Well, the two kicks will follow each other with a certain 'groove' instead of seeming like two different kicks if you put the shuffle on. This is a bit hard to explain but try it and you will understand what I mean.

Thanks beathoven. I will try it.

I believe its a 64 note pattern... I have the metro set at 16(3) on the mpc when programming the drums. So is the shuffle like a swing, or just a whole other function. Do you own a mpc?

I went to your site but got website errors when I tried to play something.

what up Rock

Hey its me MOMO. I see you come here too. :) Well I like the beat like I said Elsewhere :)

No comment on the track - not cuz I like it or cuz I don't, just cuz I don't say shit about other people beats. shuffle = swing. for a point of reference, hmmm... think new jack swing-style drum notation/production. ( i guess that's a good p.o.r.). Anyway, you feel me...

Sup momo, nothing is more interesting than home studios :). I am an equipment freak.

Got you flo' dolo. Thanks. I figured shuffle sounded like the same thing swing does.
