Sorry for the repeat here, but I tried to run this post on the bottom of my original post from a week or so back, and it dropped to bottom and off the page like a bad habit with like 2 new views, so I'll try it as a new thread to see if anyone notices...

Okay, I've re-EQed this whole damn song, so HOPEFULLY things sounds clearer and more separated. I've pulled out a bunch of from the guitars and bass, so hopefully I didn't yank too much...Please let me know if you think this version is better...

Hey man, I didn't listen to the first one,but this one sounds real nice, but I've really enjoyed everything you've posted here. Keep it up, I've almost got enough for a Robertt8 CD!

At first I thought you might have cut too much, and the guitars sounded a little thin, but when everything else kicked in it was fine. Can you EQ the intro seperately? Just a thought.

Thanks for responding! I'm glad you like my stuff!

Oddly enough, this is one of my first stabs at really messing with EQ, and I think I might have pulled a bit too much bass out on both the bass and the guitars. At least I can see how it kind of cleans up the mix better. And yeah, I also noticed the guitars sounding really thin on the intro. I might need to splice together a couple takes to fatten up that intro...but I think what I really need to do is remix with a little more bass.

no mix comments for now but i like this song. i just downloaded all your songs. i'll make a cd and give you some car comments tomorrow.

Nice. I think the mixing is pretty good, but then again thats compared to my stuff :)

Any comments on any of the tunes? None of them have any EQing done to them, save this last version to this song. I know I need some serious bass roll off on some of the tunes like "How We Gonna Get Home". Any advice would be great.
