i recently bought a studio package deal from a friend. i got a fast track pro, a mbox mini2, and an alesis multimix 12. i am not sure how to set it up, the way i have it set up is my mic (perception 220) connected to the mixer using the phantom power and pre amps, then i have the mixer connected to the FTP but no power and gain knob is at 0. the FTP is connected to my pc through usb. the quality is great but im not sure if the quality would sound better with the mbox mini instead of the FTP...IS MY WAY OF SETTING UP GOOD? OR WHAT WOULD YOU GUYS SUGGEST?

All I can tell you is that I'm wondering what the MM12 is even there for...

You have 3 audio interfaces and only require 1. All three are capable of recording via usb/fire connections to your pc.

I'm assuming you are connecting the main outs on the Alesis to the line inputs on the FTP.
This is just another level of unnecessary connections in your recording chain.

i use it for the knobs and i thinks the sound is clearer with the gain from it

yeah it makes sense i had it like that but i was told from a friend that the FTP's gain was not as crispy as it would on the mm12..and the outputs are indeed connected to the input of the FTP... and i have it that way because the usb function would not work anymore, my computer doesnt recognize it even after i installed the nesesary drivers
