Hi Soundmaster,
I didn't see anybody even touch on this!
I'll tell you right now, It will be cheaper for you to MOVE than it will be to attempt to isolate against a TRAIN !

You might be able to "knock down" the sound getting out a little bit by construction-but you are not going to be able to keep that train out of your recordings!
