I have a vs-880 which has a l/r master out.
How can I send the siganl to both my Alesis M1 monitors and a mix-down cassette deck at the same time?

I have a Pioneer tuner / receiver which I could run the master out to and then run from that , out to the monitors and tape deck but will this color the sound / accuracy of the monitors?

Your suggestions would be a tremendous help.

Yo Shocking Wire of High Volts:

If I read your question correctly you want to do what I do with my MD-8 which has a master l/r out used to mix-down the tracks.

I use an integrated amplifier; it has ins/outs for CD, Two Tape decks, am/fm, AUX,etc. Also, the speakers hook into the integrated amp, two sets of them.

So, when I want to test the waters of my tracks, I can listen to the results via one set of monitor speakers/Alesis I's, or both sets of speakers via the on/off toggle on the amplifier.

I can record to both tape decks if I choose or just one deck, via the switching capacity of the amplifier.

So, what you might want to check into is hooking up your system to an integrated amplifier. This, is probably only one way to do it and I'm sure our colleagues out there might have another method that would work just as well.

I use a Yamaha integrated amplifier and had to wait two months to get it to replace my old integrated amp. The Yam is a good product.

Hope this helps. Need to run; Kato just saluted and knocked himself out - Judo, you know!
