Nashville Rocker
Hey guys, so I use a 002 RACK right now without moving sliders and i HATE it.. i love the rack, but i hate that it only has 4 xlrs and no sliders or knobs lol. I am not to familiar with interfacing other hardware with digidesing products to get a full console, but does anyone make a console (much like the 003 console) that will interface with my 002 so that i can have moving sliders? Doesn't tascam make something the fw-1082? does it have optical in and outs? I just need something along those lines (AFFORDABLE) that i can interface to have a better mix station and board.

Thanks guys! :)

btw.. does presonus not make anything that has optical on it anymore either? i dont think the fp10 does now..hmm...

How about this:

Behringer BCF2000 controller about €200..

Lots of stuff available for ProTools - you just have to give us your definition of "affordable".

heh heh heh.. yea usually pro tools and affordable don't roll too deep lol. umm i would define affordable for a good piece of hardware that has sliders i can work with, WITH pro tools around 500 bucks. I just can't afford anything from Digidesign (003 console w/ sliders RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE) nor M-Audio's stuff either (usually).. thats why I am wondering what else I could get. I'm new to interfacing different hardware with digidesign stuff...
