i made a vocoder program where i can plug my guitar into the line 2 jack, and instead of the keyboard activating the notes for the vocoder, anything played on my guitar initiates
what is spoken through the condenser! it reminds me a little bit of the infamous peter frampton talk box effect. am i even making any sense?!

Yeah it makes sense. The Peter Frampton things was a "talk box" which consisted of a horn tweeter connected to a guitar amp with a plastic hose shoved into it. The other end of the hose was taped to a microphone such that if you got real close to the mic, the tube would protrude into your mouth. You mouth the words that you want your guitar to "sing" and that's how "do you feel liek we do" was done.

I built one in high school. It is good at doing vowel sounds so saying Marajuana into it was always fun! :D
