I know it's not nice to poke fun but...

Sincere or not, it's more entertaining than virtually every currently popular band in the world. That, and it was pure brillance when ol' Eddie Van Halen realizes halfway through the solo that it might be wise to step closer into the camera's view so we can all get a better look at that smokin ass Dean.

I think this will come to be known as the 'it's so bad that it's good' decade.

Its looking to be longer than a decade because it started in the end of '96 / beginning of '97 at the very least. I don't see it ending anytime soon. Infact, I am willing to venture to say that guitar driven music will go the way of the piano. Yes, HipHop killed the rock and roll star. This is a digital age and rock is an old timers ball game.

Hip Hop killed the rock and roll star sure, but only on MTV, top 40, and in the majority of thirteen year old girl's cd players. Not a one of them bears any real importance whatsoever. After all, Hendrix had to open for the Monkees on many a night.

There's plenty of rock in the world, it just kinda all sucks. As usual, the best rock going on right now isn't the widely known stuff.

I'm reasonably confident they got the original bassist from Nirvana. I mean, what else has he been up to all these years?

lol

ROFL COPTER, I am still laughing. I knew guys that played like that through highschool. It brings back old memmories. The lead did the solo prety well though I will give them that much.

You mean since he whacked himself in the head with his bass at that awards show a few years ago? Now, THAT was funny!

Ha, I wonder if that can be found on YouTube...

Yeah, I remember those days just starting out. Man what a blast. When your just starting out your having so much fun that you don't know you suck. I hope they stick with it.

That brings back memories!

The second band I was in at the age of 14 or so, the bass player was actually tone deaf. We didn't realize it right away, but after our second or third practice, we were asking him, "Hey, Clark - can't you hear the difference between ..this.. and ..this..?" He said, "Huh?" :D So we just made him memorize the notes to play. Hey, nobody that was "any good" wanted to play bass! :D :D

We used to do a mean cover of Paranoid by Black Sabath. I had a bass and a guitar and me and my friends always took turns playing the bass.

I don't think our band was THAT bad in our first video we filmed of ourselves. Not far off though.

So long as they are having fun (Y)

The bassist needs to be in time though - that just frustrated me. Then again - hard to be in time with a drummer like that :)

They converted the timing to a marching beat!!!! GO THEM.
