I just got a a Thomas Organ "Lawrence Welk 700". It's sweet! Almost everything is in working condition, and I'm still finding new functions on it. It has a rotating leslie in it... it's really cool...

I was having a hard time finding information on it, like when it was made and where, and how it stacks up in the grand scheme of organs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bet you got it from the ARC store by Foothills Fashion Mall. :D

Another reccer from Fort Fun I see?

That organ was cool. I messed with it, but I had no idea what I'd do with it. Does it really have a Leslie in it? I didn't notice that. Damn. Oh well, congrats on the purchase.

me too! :)

i had a similar encounter with a yamaha electone 105 at salvation army a few months ago. the organ is great and im sure yours is a bit better, my low-quality yamaha speaker cant beat a leslie. what did you end up paying if you dont mind me asking. i paid $125 for mine and i am fully convinced it was worth every penny.

lofipower,

Yup, mine was $100 which I think is about the going rate. My grandmother had an organ, and I used to mess on it when I was a kid, so I've wanted one forever, and when I saw it I knew I had to have it.

That's so funny, I did get it at the Arc by the Mall! Ha! Fort Collins rocks!
