Ok, Lets say I buy a Metric Halo 2882 that has 8 analog inputs (4 mic/4 line). It also has 8 channels thrue ADAT. Plus it also has S/PDIF. I have a few questions. My studio needs are small at this moment..also..I know I can daisy chain 3 of the units. That aside, will I be able to use all 8 analog inputs at SAME time with ADAT inputs for a total of 16 inputs? Or is it one or the other? How about S/PDIF? What if I have an 8 channel Digital Preamp? Will the digital inputs show up as 8 seperate tracks on my DAW software? How about ADAT and S/PDIF at same time. I do not have much knowlege or experience with digital inputs. Please make this simple for me.
