Alright. So if I'm allowed some questions, that'd be sweet

So If the room was a dead room, and I planned on recording one track at a time, how bad would the dead room make the sound? The room isn't very big, and we don't have siding on the walls yet. We're getting sheet rock tomorrow to put up. So yeah, any advice is great, thanks a bunch

my advice........put siding on it. use nails if you want it to stay on.

the sheetrock alone is going to liven the room up, because sound is going to be hitting a reflective surface...

i think everyone in this thread was going on the assumption that you had went out of your way to create a dead room

after you put up your sheetrock (two layers of 5/8"s would be best), your room is going to sound absolutely different, and your problem isn't going to the be the room is dead, but it has way too many reflections, and a lot of them unflattering

you'll have to acoustically treat the interior of the room
