I have just unpacked my new dp02cf and just to show you how little I know I can't figure out how to hook up the monitors. Mind you I purchased this as a package that included a set of Fostex pmo.4 monitors. The owners manual shows the rca jack in the rear going out to a stereo amplfier, but my monitors are individually powered. Would they really have bundled this package together without the ability to plug and play, or am I missing something? Also included were two 10' 1/4" cables, mics, boom stands, etc. Can anyone show me the trees through the forest?

Re: dp-o2 monitors

Hey Dan. I have an old dp-01fx. If your monitors are powered individually, run one(red) rca cord to the right hand speaker, and one (white) rca cord to the left. Watch your volumes closely, and power up the monitors with the volume down. Some monitors are set up with both left and right rca cords running to the right hand monitor and a "patch" (rca) cord between the left and right. Hope this helps.

Thanks rmc

I found a couple of rca cables I didn't know I had in my gig bag. That did the trick. Seems they would have supplied them, but I'm past that now. Took me bout half an hour of "check-check-check" to figure out the PHANTOM button isn't just for operas anymore. This is gonna be a pile of fun.
