male vox sound a little hot to me, kinda buries the rest of the instruments. let me guess, the guy singing is the guy mixing there's a bit of sybillance as well.

Actually I would love to sing like him. So i probably imagine too much that it's me singing, which is why i tend to mix his vox hot. Didn't catch the sybillance though. Thanks, i'll probably push back the vox a bit.

The distorted guitar- I really reckon some non digital distortion would have been more appropriate.
The male vocal is far too out front.
The tempo REALLY plods. I know it's meant to have gravitas but the tempo makes the melody seem mournful & forlorn. It makes it sound like submission though exhaustion rather than submission through choice & rejoicing.To get a real up at this tempo you need to send the lead voice soaring above the backing.
The sibilaince can be fixed - so try to do that.
The drums sound good, the bass is pretty good too except some of the runs are just flurries of blurred fluffly tones.
