I dont know if this is a stupid question But i have to ask

Do you hook up all your equipment to you controller. For instance could I hook up a RNC, m audio dmp3, and firewire 410 to a presonus central station studio monitor controller. And if i can, then which piece of equipment would I hook the microphone into?

The central station is not an interface. It's a studio monitor controller, as you said in your post. Get an interface.

What interface would you recommend? I have the m-audio 410 but i think I could do better. What is your take on that?

I think the 410 should be just fine, I've never used it or read much about it, but I love my Delta 66, so I trust M-Audio a bit.
