EQUIPMENT: Electronic drums, Electric guitar, Behringer Q1204USB mixer
SOFTWARE: Reaper, EZ Drummer 3
ISSUE:
I have NO problem separating guitar and drums when recording the 2 together in Reaper if I use the onboard sounds of the e-Drums (yes they are recorded on separate tracks). But if I use EZ Drummer 3 and record both guitar and drums (and connect via USB from drums to laptop), they come out recorded together on the same tracks. Meaning, drums and guitar are mixed together on both tracks. Any advice or questions would be greatly appreciated.
NOTE: In Reaper, I have set the guitar to Input 1, and the e-Drums are set to MIDI>Alesis Surge (which is the e-Drums mentioned above)
