can't get a guitar tone in cakewalk free guitar amp sim. Sounds very cheap amp or I need to learn how to get tone?

If the question was can you get good guitar amp tones, then it depends what you want. There are usually a few combinations that work OK, but I've not found the stock tones very inspiring in any of them.
