Ok heres the deal....I am a chef that loves to record me some sound.....What I need to do is:::::Get a Citron Burre Blanc Reduction Cooking and I need to record it....An I need to record it on a 8 Track Digital program So I can get all those different cooking tones on tape mixed together. I working for someone doing a cooking commercial.. Whats the best way to go about this??

Are you asking about recording sounds to put onto vidio?
Seems like you are asking for something {kindof} like "Foley"[sp.] recording??

1) You could do a search on the net for "cooking sounds" (I would do that search using the metacrawler search engine.

Or...

2) Purchase a recorder (digital, cassette, mini-cassette, etc.) or a MIC. Place the device you want to record into a small room, closet, or large box with the recorder or MIC.

Then start recording.

You'll then have to transfer the recordings to your 8-track program (unless... you record with a MIC directly into your computer).
