I'm pretty coffeed out myself..

I took the day off to do vocals, but I already feel like I'm having a heart attack..

6:30... ...Im here at 5:30. It just aint right.

....sounds like its time to lock yourself into a room, take off the shirt and sweat a little. .....wishing i could use the "thumbs up" icon right now

We have been waiting for something a little more agressive from you anyhow. Seems like a perfect fit! :)

Actually I was kinda hoping for some Wolves and Cats in three part a capella harmony. But Sam lacks the proper dimensions to his gonads..

(nudge nudge...)

;)

...that would require gonads of an immense proportion.

...dude.. ...tom... ...youve got organizational skillz... ...as Steve suggested... HRC5.... ....a cappela......guernica pushes sluice into the burning building

-EDIT-...delete that suggestion.... you just did one and prolly aint in a hurry to do another.... ...sorry. guernica pulls sluice out... ...just in the nic of time

....they're raisins man... ....but they're nice ones

Maybe, but did you see what I wrote in Dafduc's thread about HRC 5? I think we should get everyone who bailed after signing up for HRC4 to cover a HRC4 song. I mean 50% of the people who signed up bailed on working with someone else. Are they really going to put their own voices up completely naked? I'm fucking nuts, and even I hesitated to hit the submit button. :)

By the way, I'm not really taking that down. I was joking about it coming down in 24 hours. Everything we do our best on at the time we do it is perfect. I think I did alright for a guitar player, maybe it will inspire a few people to take chances. Which is one of the main reasons it's up there in the first place.

LOL...just caught your edit. Yea, thanks. It was getting pretty rough there for a while.

 Yeah really.....what a bunch of wusses. I can't believe how few of the HRC#4's made it to the table. We really need to do a Wussies of homerecording thread calling them out for bombing by Mustapha

Hits like a Phillips head into my brain
It's gonna be too dark to sleep again
Cutting my teeth on bars and rusty chains
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

When the forest burns along the road
Like God's eyes in my headlights
When the dogs are looking for their bones
And it's raining icepicks on your steel shore

versus

i'll wait for you there
liek a stone
i'll wait for you there alone

Holy Hell this is good. I'm like the 7,000th person to post here, and you've probably both forgotten this thread's even here, and this is probably the 9th mix anyway, but I had to say SOMETHING.

That big wide V across the music bed has me intrigued...vocals sit perfectly in there, but there's no mud in the mix at all. This has excellent VOLUME response...

The guitar work is very nice (this is a fun song to jam along with, btw), and I like hearing Al sing kinda' "UP" in his register

...blah, blah...you both know it rules, lol.

TEACH US.

Peace,
me

LOL Chris, not that many posters really...it's actually like 3 of us just babbling inanities.

This is Mix 2. I redid the lead guitar because I was apparently possessed by Yngwie Malmsteen or something when I did my first improv takes in mix 1. It was pretty easy to keep this reasonably clean because Al's rhythm bed was comprised of pretty clean tracks. The mark of one who knows the value of good tracking!

(But you know this shit, I'm talking to the lurkers ;) )
