This thing is rigged for sure because I've had three different collab partners in the last hour or so.:D

Let's see....I'm happy to pair with anybody for this, but must confess to being a little bummed just because I have been thinking for several hours about how I would approach a collab with you. My conclusion was that we'd have to do something that didn't sound like either of us--something new. I'm just gonna sit back and see if you wish to reconsider jilting me (:D) as your dance partner. At least for 24 hours. If you chose honor over earth shattering and groundbreaking musical artistic leaps into the future, all for the benefit of mankind, I have no problem with that at all. I mean, after all, I have a lot of damn important things to do, like watch game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, giving myself a pedicure, and posting meaningless dribble at any given moment of divine inspiration. Yeah, I'm THAT busy!

So, really, I totally understand the position you're in. I don't feel slighted at all, and if I slipped back into the smoking crack thing a little, its certainly not anything you need to feel at all guilty about. As soon as I get out of rehab and have been on the 12 steps for a few months, I'm sure the pain of blatant public rejection will abate to a level thats managable with only mild sedatives. :D

So, whadda we gonna do Museman?! Let's cover a SluiCe song, OK?:D

Yeah, what he said. I don't think anyone was honestly suggesting this was rigged. And, dammnit, I was really looking forward to the sluice/crawdad collab :mad:

Hope it was just a stressful day or something, and sluice changes his mind.
 
Tom...my brother, we all really wish you'd reconsider.....I'm sure everyone was kidding you about the fix.......I mean, it always was gonna be one of the interesting parts of this thing.....seeing who the laws of chance would bring together and chance picked you and Al. Gotta follow thru man........we all need to hear what'll come of that and if anyone's bummed you out so much that you pull out, it's going to cast a shadow on the rest of us and won't be as much fun. Sure hope you reconsider.

Lt. Bob--Your perspective continues to amaze me. So well said. You are my inspiration. Not because of my personal part in the pairing either. I just think that if we can't have some faith and trust in each other, we are all worse off. SluiCe is putting himself on the line setting up this challenge, and its a lot of work as is. He doesn't need any thankless grief. Like B. Sabbath says--we gotta lighten up! (I know most of us were light and having fun with it, so lets just keep on!)
