hey this is Cell. i have two hip-hop tracks that i recorded with sonar 4 and an akg c1000s. let me know how the mix is and if there's anything that i should change. thanks

Sup man that fire one is fire dog. The only thing really on that track is that your vocals and the beat sounds like they don't fit. Maybe try lowering the lead vocal, eq and dirty it up a little. The same applies to Pull Up. Good work over all. I just got some decent monitors and my mixes sound ten times better in less time. It use to take me about 3 days to mix with Behringer Truth monitors. Now it takes me about 3 hours with my Tannoy monitors. All I need is a sub to adjust my low end accurately.

what up b-face. i appreciate the love. when i mixed these two songs i was using headphones so that might be half of my problem, but i'll mix it again to see if what you say works. and i checked out that west-coast track and let me tell you,,,,it's hot!! holla
