For those who've used them, how good or bad are they? Would you buy another? Thanks
I'm sorry: mixers

I use mine for headphones. It sounds fine for that. I never recorded anything decent on it... but I wasn't a recording genius back then...;)

I love my 602A, I can do decent work without spending big bucks!

It's a perfect staring point for people who want to try out recording.

Good bang for the buck. I got a 802A BUT i think these mixer's are poorly constructed and I hate the customer support. But, it does the job.

I happen to have a very good experience with Behringer customer service...

I was in Toronto last year and bought the 602A from a local dealer. However I need a 240V power supply to use it back in Malaysia. There is no 240V power supply available in Canada!

So I called up the customer service in Ontario and the sales guy happen to be going to Germany the following week.... he personally got me one from germany and sent it to my dealer Free of Charge!!! That really made my day. :)

got the MX 1604a just beside me as I'm writing. I use it as input for my two soundcards. It has 4 outs, what definitely makes enough bang for 460 bucks (deutschmarks, that is).

Well, my 802A is a piece of crap right now...for some reason I havent even had it a year and one of the pots (the crtl out/phones) has a bad output..i dont think its the outputs themselves but the pot is weak... i have to turn it past 50 % to get a stereo output...but if i put it to 75% it drifts off to the right or left channels again.
Really weird. And Im trying to get it fixed.

two perspectives

a friend of mine does live sound, and he uses the behringer compressor on the sound. To the guys watching "60 seconds" its totally transparent.

Another friend bought the same compressor. 12 channels, $149. He returned it two weeks later.

I have the autocom pro compressor...it rules! WHat the hell were they thinking when they designed those mixers though GRRRR!

i think behringer compressors compete well on the market..and they are better bang for the buck than the mixers.
