How would I connect the HA8000 to my small studio setup?
At the moment I have tascam m-164UF desk and KRK ROKIT 5 monitors.
I want to use the headphone amp almost like an inear system. I want to have it for my band practices so that we can all listen a lot easier and also for while we are doing recordings in my practice room. Would this system work and how would I connect it???

Would it be possible to get a separate mix onto each channel on the ha8000 though?
For example guitars up louder on one channel, keyboards up louder on another channel etc.

Not for every instrument. You'd need something with more outs.

You could create two separate mono mixes with the AUX outs and then mix them with a main mix. So maybe the bass and drums get one mix, guitars get one and the singer gets just the main.

you can get as many different mixes as to how many aux channels you have. seems that with your mixer you have 2 aux outs

Damn...and to think that for all of these years I believed that you could also feed a headphone amp from the sub buss or the main outputs. I guess the guys whose headphones I connected to sub and main outputs were only pretending to hear something.

Stupid me...

ok sorry mr. douche for not elaborating a bit more even though my first suggestion was to use the sub outs. yes you can use the sub outs and main outs along with the 2 aux's that he has in this sittuation but still only limited to 3 different mixes because sub outs mimic the main outs. sorry again for not elaborating before even though i first suggested the sub outs.

There is that word douche again 3 times in the last hour in three different forums ..... has to be the holidays.
