How to use P2K outputs?

I have a question about the Proteus2K outputs. I've tried assigning channels individually from the outputs on the proteus2k into my 8 channel soundcard interface (Motu2408MKII). But all the channels are recording together instead of individual tracks in Sonar1.3. On the P2K it has main, sub 1, sub 2, sub 3 outputs and when I try to set the channels individaully I still get two tracks recording on one track in Sonar, do I have to pan the channels in the P2K? What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do? Any help? Thanks everyone.
 
I am not familiar with the Proteus piece, give me a link their website.
 
Here is a link, I've peep it out along with the manual and I have no problem recording tracks into Sonar it's just I can't figure out how to send out the channels on the P2K individually . I'm new to midi setup so that maybe my problem. http://www.emu.com/products/proteus2000/p2k.html
