yes. fist make a share folder(creat folder right click/ properties/share tab. click share this folder apply) and put the file there right click my computer/ properties/ network idetification. right down computer name of the computer you are tranfering from. then on the pc you are transfering to right click network places and search for pc name. type in the pc name. you will see the pc name come up click it and you will be promped to type user name and password then you will see the folder that you shared. however xp firewall may make hard for you. you can use the setup home network wizard. i think its in the control panel. but you still have to make share folders and know the pc nameNick The Man said:the 2 computers are actually connected through a router with ethernet
