how to: soundcard swap

How difficult is it to swap out my original soundcard for an M audio 66, 44 or the 2496. I currently have the Lexicon Omega system which is USB friendly but it's just so awkward ...I'm switching to a Mg 10/2 mixer and one of the delta cards. My software is cool edit.

Swapping out ain't bad. Trying to add another and get the two of them to play nicey-nice together is usually where it could get fun.
