Hi guys,
I have a couple of Motu 8pres and a bunch of outboard gear. I'd like to run something I have already recorded out to my sonic exciter (bbe enhancer style rack unit) then re-record the processed signal on a new track (but still keeping the original. I am sure this is possible but I haven't done it before can someone please advise the best way to do this and is there any issue with audio sync once this is done - for example does the new track appear delayed at all?

Thanks for the help.

The sonic exciter has xlr and jack in/outpus.

Thanks :D

Output goes to input. It's that simple.

Yes, there may be latency - Look in the manual for your software to see if there is compensation.

Now - Why you'd want to run something to a Sonic Maximizer is for another thread...

I had a feeling this was the case and I thank you for your reply mate. I wasn't 100% sure if it was that easy or if it would cause some sort of nasty looping (like feedback).

Thanks for the information, I really apprecaite it. I wanted to fatten up a track via this rack unit or at least to experiment with it. I wasn't sure if this was the right place to post the question either sorry about that.

Cheers :)
