How to receive Notifications when someone answers you?

Hi there

can anyone tell me how to receive a notification when someone answers a thread where you have recently posted? Is there an option or so? I'm kinda new in forums

Upper right corner, click on Settings
Halfway down in the left column click on General Settings
Halfway down that, look for messages and Notifications
Select an option for "Default Thread Subscription Mode"
