how to position monitors

Hello-
I'm currently shopping for some powered monitor speakers (probably Event PS5/6's) for my small (approx. 8x8) office/studio with one window. Can anyone offer suggestions or links to info on how to best position monitors?

Easy...

3 feet apart, and each speaker about 3 feet from each ear. Create a perfect triangle and you are set.

Oh, make sure that the horn is at ear level, and I prefer that it is about 6" higher then ear level and pointing down to my ears. Seems to image better.
