dude, if someone gave him fruity loops its not stealing. leave him alone. its only stealing if he downloaded it, or copied it from someone. giving something to someone isnt stealing, its the same as selling it but without a price.

You're assuming that the person giving it to uhhh "her" gave the whole package, which from the sounds of it he didn't. Sounds like s/he got it burnt on a CD. If s/he had gotten the entire package, then s/he would already be able to find the answers to "her" questions.

Sounds like someone didn't read the user agreement. Installing it on your computer then "giving it" to a buddy is no different than pirating the software. Heck, I had to buy two versions of XP because I have two computers... in the same room, no less. But I thank you. I enjoyed paying the increased cost you added to my purchase of Fruity (which, incidently, I was still dabbling with the manual 2 hours after installing it).

Thank you Riznich for sticking up for me, cause thats exactly what happened., The person gave it to me and I asked him if he has the Users Guide and he said he lost it.. I have the actual package and the original CD, not a burnt copy... I'm sure if any one of you "didn't" have it, and a friend of yours told you he's give it to you, UM YA WOULDN'T REFUSE... and if you did, your an idiot..

As far as me making 4 in 2 hours... I came up with ideas for 4 tracks that only need a few more sounds added to them (cause each one of them, are almost complete and already sound hot) and then they can be put together, which is the next step I have to learn. How to blend them together, and loop them so that I can save it as an MP3.. and then I could show you.. but now I have to wait to be shown this, since no one wants to help me here becaue of JEALOUSY.... I may not know what Im doing YET, but I know hot sounds and can put them together very easily. And Quickly... Two Underground House beats, One dirty South beat, and one regular hip hop beat...

No, they have help files on them, but Im the type of person that needs to be shown something mostly.. the thing is, I am so new to this that I dont understand alot of the technical words that you guys know and that are in the program, so I don't know what its referring to, unless someone tells me, go here or go there... but Hey, I have to start somewhere!! there is just so much in there to read...

Um Im sorry!!! do I care what any of you think??? but yeah, sorry, I just bought a user guide on line at Amazon for $10... It pisses men off when women find ways to get the things they need huh? and I didn't even have to flash anyone to get it!!!!! Do you really believe that all the sh*t you've elicited here is due (even a little bit) to your being a woman? I'd bet that nobody here even gave one brain cell's worth of thought as to your sex. If you choose to turn all your interpersonal conflicts into gender wars, then that's your thing (there are many therapists out there who are very good at getting at anger management issues). I don't know who has caused you to be so angry at men, but I doubt that it was anyone on this forum.

Here, try a little experiment: Get 3-4 of your friends, separately, who don't already know about this little cyber-adventure of yours to read all the posts on this thread and see what their reaction is. If your friends are any good at all, they will probably (hopefully) let you know that you are *missing the point* and *over-reacting*.

The point, by the way, begins with the premise that we, as a group, seem to frown upon the practice of pirating intellectual property. The point is really made when you see that we frown even more severely upon those who pirate and then ask others to help them out with issues that wouldn't exist if there had been no pirating. Granted, some folks here are sarcastic (I'm certainly not innocent) in their responses, but I think it's your actions (and not *you*) that people here are criticizing. Do you see this at all?

I have nothing against men, but I didn't like the sarcasm I guess... and as I said again.. you guys can have your opinion.. but I didn't even have "pirating" on my mind when I asked the innocent question. I just want to learn how to make beats and I happened to get the cd for free.. so why should I have refused it ? any normal person wouldn't have.. If I had even known you guys were like this, I would have never asked.. but why not ask people who know what their talking about ?? Sorry If I assumed I may have ran into a nice person that would have just said "ah, F-it".. I think that people are being a bit harsh to Newainttheword. Obviously she just wants to learn a little bit more about making music (a bridge and a chorus in her song) and all of a sudden everyone is pirate hunting. Now it sounds as though someone really gave her the copyrighted cds so she hasn't even done that (although I feel relatively sure someone will feel compelled to raise a legal objection as we don't know whether her friend took it off of his computer... consult your IPR textbooks from lawschool). When I got my first recording software I "borrowed" it from someone, when I felt certain that I liked the software (and I had enough money) I went out and bought the full version.

Newainttheword, I wish I had the answer to your question, but I'm not familiar with the software. I'm boggled that there isn't a stronger brotherhood (and sisterhood) of people who just want to create music. I'm amazed that this has turned into a witchhunt... I'm all for protecting Intellectual Property Rights but damn, loyalties to the industry are obviously stronger than encouraging the arts.

Check out this site which offers FREE FruityLoops tutorial for beginners. If you don't find any help at this one.........then type in the words... FruityLoops tutorial ...into Google search and find many others.......you can find the answer without this forum now that you have fallen from their graces.
