Hi
I'd like to ask anyone here how you handle a long event with only three fade handles?

I created an audio event, a string sound, and I'd like to do the fade adjustment on several notes in this event

But I realized that I can only adjust the fade where the three handles are (I'm just starting SX), which doesn't give me a lot of flexibility in adjusting.

Is there anything I"m missing here?
How is everyone handling this kind of situation?
Is there another to apply fade?

Any comment would be greatly appreciated
Thank you so much

P.S.
Also, is there a way to keep the Fade Editor only even when I click on the ruler?
I made some change on the fade at the Fade Editor and click Apply, and as soon as I click on the ruler to move the project cursor so I can sort of kind rewind it to an ealier time to listen to the result, the Fade Editor would disappear
Then I'll have to open it again to make another adjustment
It's sort of troublesome. Is there a way to keep it until I close it?

Thanks

Hey pumkin, welcome to SX. I know this is late (I'm in the middle of buying my first house....and I thought my DAW was complicated  ) but in case your still trying to figure out the fade:

In SX you can automate multiple fades all over your track. You want to open up the automation track for your string sound (click on the "+" symbol) and the first default is volume. Then you can choose your pencil tool and go in and click points, or even draw your fades with the pencil. It takes some getting used to, and I find that clicking the high and low points of a fade works easier than just drawing the whole thing freehand, but you can do virtually anything with the volume (and just about every other automation feature) in this way.

Thank you for your welcome and help Bass Master :)
I haven't studied anything about automation yet
Thanks for your suggestion
It gave me direction on what page to turn next on my Operation Manual:)
