For new members:
1.Create a new thread rather than revive something 10 years old
2. Be specific in the title (For example don’t just say, “Need help now or my dick will fall off!” Seems catchy, but some will just refuse to bother with threads like that unless its someone we’ve known for a long time. You want to attract members that may have the same machine/problem you have)
3. Give brand and model number of machine/piece of gear and type of tape used. (There are potentially thousands of machine/tape combinations and frankly a lot of us don’t have time to interrogate, so we don’t answer as many questions as we might… I know I don’t)
4. There are relatively few “General” machine/tape questions that will get you the answers you need.
Example of bad question:
“What tape is best?”
Example of good question:
“I have a Foxtex R8. What tapes work well with it?”
