How to Connect drums to PC?

Hey guys
I got an electric kit, got a pc with Sonar 8 on it. Also have a Line 6 Audio interface.
I'm very very new to home recording and to be honest, i dont quite understand it.
If someone could explain how to connect the kit to Sonar 8 it would be much appreciated.

Either via a MIDI output from your drums to the MIDI input on your interface, or via 1/4' audio outs from your e-kit into 1/4' audio ins to your interface. In the case of the latter, you'll probably have a left and a right output which combined will provide a stereo image. The midi option will allow you to use the midi kit to trigger samples in sonar, while the audio option will allow you to record the audio samples from the kit's module.
