Ask the guy you are buying them from. I got no clue.

if you got no clue why are you answering,

i dont know how much they go for so i dont nkow if hes giving me a deal or ripping me off. get it?

Well, how much is he asking and what are they exactly?

hi tex

he has a empty jenkins 2x12 for $275
and a marshall 1922 unloaded 2x12 for $235

it seems like alot to pay for a bunch of plywood but i may be wrong, thanx

That does seem alittle high for empty 2X12's. I paid $125 each for my Hollywoods. They're slant cabs made from 3/4 marine plywood covered with that grey carpet-like stuff (my cat loves 'em!)

They've got the standard metal grills with the 4 clamps. Kinda ugly but they sound fine with Vintage 30's and some fibreglass batting inside. They've survived 10 years of gig duty without falling apart so that's a big +.

I'd agree that sounds pretty high. What you have to figure is the cost of putting speakers in them vs the cost of buying complete cabs. That will tell you if it's a good deal or not.

yeah, i wanna get sum vintage 30s but i dont know any brands that put them in 2x12s, do you guys have any suggestions?

Coming from a guy who just purchased a loaded 4x12 cabnet with 4 scorpions and flight caseable to boot for only 100 bucks, Id say you should look harder for a better deal.
