Over the years I have owned around 25 guitars. These are the ones I still own. :)

Sweet!!! Wow, True, you're into the fast, shredder guitars. I just got a second hand Aria with a Kahler trem and a coil tap, so I finally know the benefits of that type of guitar.... they rock. :D
:D Yah...now I just have to get my fingers into it !!!

1972 Gibson Hummingbird - Martin Gold Series P/U-wife's guitar now
1960 Harmony Rocket Hollowbody - Very fun to play
1970 VOX Spitfire II - Heavily bastardized-from my punk rock days
1996 Yamaha AES 500 - fun guitar in the studio and my back-up live
1999 Fender MIM Strat - Main axe, been hot rodded-love this guitar
1951 ES125 - You will pry it out of my cold dead hands-studio use only
I couldn't locate a but found this...it looks to be from the same era....Vintage Hummingbird

Is this what you have...?1960 Harmony Rocket Hollow Body

I have this one...not sure what year it is though....minus the pickguard that some dooflas took off during an inspection and misplaced at the shop and I never saw it again! I bought it used in 1975 or 76.....Harmony Meteor Hollow Body

I pasted 1970 VOX Spitfire II in Google.....

....and this is the first image on the first page it shows.. :D Dogman Special

And the only guitar pic was this one. Is this what it looks like Ridge?VOX

What color is yours Ridge?...Yamaha AES 500

Here is a 1999 MIM Fender Strat Like yours?

Is this it...? 1951 ES 125 "You will pry it out of my cold dead hands"

Right now I only have this one. MIA Fat Stat Texas Special. I'm still looking at getting an Ibanez 540S Saber one of these days.
Love the finish on it Sir. :)

I've resisted until now but with True & Gorty doing the string naughty I had to join in the show'n'tell.
This is most of my string section. I have a little classical that I've not photographed - I should as the rest were photographed due to insurance company insistence & it'd be missed & have to be replaced like the rest.
From L to R they are
Vantage Bass (great)
Emperador Semi Acoustic bass
Dolphin 'cello
Bruno Royal Artist Semi Acoustic (brilliant)
Epiphone Sheraton II Semi Acoustic
333 Acoustic (astounding)
Fender 12 string Acoustic
Also not pictured is a violin but it's still in the strictly catawalling stage at present. All that & a purely for bashing $40 acoustic that isn't very attractive & has such a high action that iIm considering put a pickup on it & using it for slide.
No real names but embarrassing riches for someone so poorly talented.

I'm up to 16 now, with an Epiphone EB3 bass on the way. If the question ever came up - How Many Guitars Do You Need? - I could honestly answer "all of them!" Yeah, yeah...I can only play 'em one at a time, but that makes for some interesting jam sessions. Of course, at any time in the coming future, I'll likely add "a few" more guitars/basses to the collection (Fender Stratocaster XI, Chandler lap steel, Fender Jaguar Bass, Epiphone WildKat [or Gretsch 512x or Peavey JF2]), but I follow the "variety is the spice of life" mentality, when it comes to my G.A.S. (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome).

Big Country - that's one wild machine!
Could you post a clip of the tone/sound & explain how you amp it?

I made it to record 5.1 it started out as 7 channels but I had a hell of a time
trying to ground it properly , so I stuck with five channels .

the body is made of thirty year old ash with a strip of heart wood through the
middle toped of with a layer of teak. its got some trippy cavities and " tone
ports" all through out the ash .

on top of the teak is a slab of birds eye maple. I used to make slit woods
a while back ,so I turned the area behind the bridge in to a slit wood.

if you know any thing about guitars = you know thats where the real tone
is

strum your acoustic and then put your hand just behind the bridge. makes a hell of a difference in sound.

I got the neck from a Tele

all I will say is this will make any tone freak shutter

I think I said to much without having patents on any of this crap.
I dont have a hundred grand to protect my ass .
some of the laws are bullshit .
maybe I will post some clips later. can you post 5.1 on here?

You hit homers on the Hummingbird, AES, and the 125 girl.
The Rocket and Spitfire were misses so here you are. I don't own a d camera so I had to surf for them.
roc1.jpg

Here's the Rocket except mine is a double cutaway.
spitfire.gif

Here's the Spitfire. Mine's butt-ugly. Has a DiMarz-Humbucker-DiMarz SC rudely implanted. Whammy is nothing but a tailpiece, and the bridge is off a 72 Dodge pickup. :D The AES is green/silver glitter with a black perloid pickguard. I hate the pick-ups in it so it's due for some work. The Strat is a MIM "American Standard" so not the cool 50's one you saw. It's been overhauled a little and resembles the HSS strats you see. I forgot to mention I also own this girl...

Way fun to play and learn on.

Hey Ray!! You have a very groovy harem of sweet noisemakers there!!!

Oh...and the 'embarrassing riches for someone so poorly talented' statement you made, leads me to daringly disagree with you....you are one talented Aussie...and you have a gift of humoured flare, in your describing of music...no sense in blushing...and no I won't give back the towel....
