For the acoustic player. Here we see a design that Chip came up with that employs a Brass insert with a screw slot. Intonation is set for 10-46. A template from Stew Mac was used to determine the ideal intonation point. Chip also worked on an acoustic design that uses standard Strat styled saddles that are fully adjustable. According to Chip, "they don’t adversely affect the sound, and you don’t have to modify your bridge to use them".

I have too many dead guitars and not enough working ones. If all the dead ones were working and weren't crappy, I'd be okay. Maybe.

But we all have needs....![]()
I just wish I'd bought a guitar every time I had an urge to. Then I'd have to get a bigger house and maybe there would be room for a studio. As it is, there's the Taylor, a brace of Corts, a Washburn and my old Gibson-In-Pieces. I do lust for a 12-string now and then...![]()
Although I'll tell buddies/co-workers about my small "amp farm," it's really more like an "amp patch," as I can honestly count on one hand the number of amps I own. That'll change, eventually, but I don't see myself collecting all that many amps. So far, I'm all solid state, but since I'm looking to do quite a bit of surf guitar stuff, I'll be looking to go with a tube amp, or two, in the coming future.Micter said:I think I'm up to 43 or 44. I need all of them!Don't get me started about how many amps.

Is that a Stew Mac you're working on, and what kind of guitar is/was Callie?
The graphics on it aren't my thing, but the rest of it is just gorgeous, right down to the knobs. Primo. Absolutley stunning.
And the link to the custom shop is dead, BTW.
