I've been on Reaper since... hell, more than fifteen years now. I tried a few other programs over the years, and I don't even remember for sure what I was using before Reaper (Sonar?). But, Reaper was easy to pick up, extremely flexible, and I like that their business model is to treat you like an adult. So I haven't looked elsewhere in a long time.
