It's just a short clip, just for learning to mix my own stuff. I'm new into this homerecording basically and haven't done many clips myself before. Will record the entire guitar tracks once it sounds okay and I know how to edit it to my liking.
How is it so far?

It sounds best with a surround set cranked . Sounds pretty shitty on my earphones. I tried to cut out some of the fizz somewhere in the higher frequencies, but I couldn't really find them when EQ sweeping. Seems like the fizz is everywhere. I now got a narrow cut of several dB's at around 4k to cut the fizz, and this is definately less fizzy than without it.
Another reason for this thread: I need some comments on my results, since I think my monitors (surround system) are a little bassheavy, and so my kick and bass might be a bit weak ór too obvious in the mix. Then I might need some studio monitors. Any suggestions? Preferably not too expensive...
I'm just learning the whole EQ thing as well. Guitars have a HP at 80 Hz, and a LP at around 10 kHz. Kick has a boost at around 40 Hz and a HP and LP around that point. And the basstrack has a boost at around 60 Hz and a HP.
Any comments?
