I was wondering if t-racks is a good invesment, i have seen it been used on server computers. Was wondering also if there are any other alternatives to t-racks?

Thx

Alex

It totally depends what your needs and expectations are.

I quite like T-racks for a home 'mastering' job but I don't think it's considered to be a serious set of mastering tools. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't find T-racks in any professional mastering houses.

It's just an eq, compressor and limiter; plenty of those around.

Why the heck would T-Racks be installed on a server?

errr, could you translate please? I think you meant to type "Never mind, I meant something else" (hey, at least you spelled "else" correctly!)

Face it guys...we now live in a society of text-messengers who aren't concerned with using proper grammar. A text-messenger can talk faster with his hands than his mouth. In order to speed up their conversation, they've developed a new language of abbreviated words, which for us, is complete babble and grammatical garbage.

Other factors contributing to the destruction of our beautiful language:

• RAP music (Dis, Dat, Dem, Yo,)
• Weak educational system and parenting. The national average for graduating seniors is reading on a 7th grade level. My 5th grade daughter reads on a 1st year college level....why, because I don't allow her to corrupt herself with rap, emailing, text-messenging, and Public School and she has parents that actually care about her education.
• Inclusion: allowance of ebonics, spanglish, and other altered versions of the English language in our society.

Its only going to get worse.

I bet you're a republican true believer who also believes the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Take it to the cave. You can rant all you want in there.

"Its" apparent punctuation is already getting worse. ;)

It's actually text-messaging :D LOL j/k

IMO
It all falls on education, a genre of music shouldn't be a contribution but I agree to some degree it is. However, if the education systems were effective a genre of music would not affect a persons diction nor the way a person presents themselves, after all it's only entertainment. I wouldn't pick someone's post apart though for bad grammar/english, some people aren't from a country where english is their first language. I use shortcuts myself when typing such as: U, 4, B etc... But there's a time and a place for everything, I wouldn't incorporate internet lingo into a finals essay.
