I was hoping someone had soom good advice on how to multitrack on cakewalk sonar 8.5 with a digital usb mixer. I can record the first track, and listen back to it and hear me playing the 2nd track but it wont record it. I cant believe someone would make a product that can only record one track. There is a button i can hit to make the second track record but it has a delay on it ( like an effect). Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to multitrack to my hearts content but also have it monitored through my control room powered yamaha speakers and not have the delay on the subsequent overdubs? Thank you for your time. - Dave

Assign the Audio Track INPUT to the interface device (L/R/Stereo whatever)
Click the Record Button on the track
Turn off input monitoring button on the track
Turn off the Record Button on the first track.
Click the Master record button.
Listen to the mix/record through your interface headphone jack not your monitors.
If you hav latency change it under Audio Options
