Sounds fine Phil...what is that, an Auto-Wah or an envelope filter or something?
Either one of those effects often has a tone-sucking effect on bass for me, but the low end on this held up pretty well.

Thanks buddy. It's an auto-wah. I didn't mess with anything too much just dialed the tone knobs on the bass to the center. They click into place when you're dead center lol. Keep it simple and when it sounds good you just jam it like a motherfunker. Plugged the bass in and start learning the song. Turned out to be really fun and an hour or so later I was done recording the bass...
