How do you convert mp3 to windows mediaplayer file?

Do you have any audio editing software? If you do you should just open it ad save as WMA. I don't know if you don't have something.
 
I have sound designer but it is so old that they didn't have windows media player. Any format changing free download software out there?

you will need to visit the codec central on their page to download and install the wma codecs. A machine restart is required for wma support or will get the message about entry point for dll.
