How do the pros get that "modern" metal tone?

pro guitars + pro amps + pro mics + pro rooms + pro sims + multiple takes + quantization + pro engineers + pro producers + pro mastering...........stir and serve over a bed of lame.

The band is generic, they're looking for that generic sound, (insert lawl) so what better way of getting that tone than to emulate the pros? (sturgis)

unlike my other projects this one lacks creativity on my part, sadly

What kind of music is that supposed to be anyway? I can't keep up with all these modern suck-core genres.

Imagine all of the completely produced bands mashed into one, low and slow breakdown.

And of course i'm not looking to get the tone from the attack attack song. I used that as an example cause this song has that punch to the guitars, if you get what i mean.

I'm not judging. If you record bands for cash this kind of request is going to come up.

I'm on both of those forums. This thread wouldn't go well in the sneap boards.

All you need to be a star is a crab-pose guitar stance and a bieber haircut. That's how dumb people are now.

lol, I just saw that commercial this morning. "kind of looks like a girl."

And all you need for crab(p) core is this guy:

I think the one they are showing on TV, Ozzy just says "What's a Beiber"...instead of "What the fuck's a Beiber".

Ozzy is hilarious!!! :D

And even Beiber has a good sense of humor...to put on the beard and wig and then call himself a girl.
In case you missed it...that's him in the last shot:

What the fuck's a Beiber?

FYI...

They gave lifetime achievement Grammy awards to the Ramones today....too bad most of them are dead and can't appreciate it.

"I wanna be sedated....."
