Lol. Okay, so I'm supposed to call my local Nickelback/Alterbridge modern sterile rock radio station and say, "Hi, I'm some guy from the suburbs that records his own material that's nothing like your regular rotation. Can I come in for an interview"?![]()

I like the way you think.
The tunes are good.
If somebody sues you, it will be the best publicity EVAR.
Plus, you're not making any money on them, so it isn't like you are looking at damages.
Any radio stuff would probably have to be college radio. Everything else is owned by Clearchannel or similar isn't it? And you're not NPR affiliate material, unless you worked up an acoustic set.![]()
He could get some coaching from Walter Tore.Gerg - the one man band....coming soon to your area.
So how's your new album been selling? Yall playing live any with the new bassist?
We're selling about ten a month, more or less. Most of the traffic our website gets is from here.
We don't play shows, although I might set up an improv stoner rock thing just to get out and well... stone.
James is working out really well, he's a good songwriter and we're mostly just jamming and trying to get the feel right. He's got a different skill set than either Steve or I and so we'll see what shakes out.
The next album will most definitely be different. We've got three recorded so far, and they're pretty different from one another and from what we've released so far.
420 is Tuesday.[snip]

What is the real question, are you asking how to promote your album, or how to promote your album ONLY to the non losers who don't use any form of social networking?
There is no more question. I already said I'm over it and not gonna bother.
