how do I convert the tapes that i record on; to the kind of tapes i can listen to on anything? thanks I am using a mf-p01 does anyone have a manual for this or know where i can get it i bought it used a few days ago thanks

WHAT!!!! how did you no it was my birthday?????????? and could you maby explain that a little more thank you

This one does: http://www.tascamcontractor.com//ftp_resources/files/manual/MF-P01_manual.pdf

Your four track records at double the speed of a normal cassette deck. In order to get it onto something you can listen to either you have to 1. transfer it to a normal cassette deck, 2. transfer it to a computer or 3. transfer it to a stand alone CD player.
There are two holes on the back of your four track called "line out." Plug in an RCA cable to these and plug them into the "line in" on any of these devices. You might want to go check your local pawn shop for a cheap cassette deck. That's one of the few things that is still cheap there because nobody wants them! A good buying guide for a beginner is that if it has a silver face plate and VU meters that are needles, it should be pretty alright. Hope this helps.

cheers,
scott
