you have two options

1) Try and figure out what people like and then try and write stuff to make those people happy even if it''s not what you'd normally choose to do
2) Write what makes you happy and hope some other people like it but if they don't, oh well you had fun creating music and bringing it to fruition

Either way you'll never get rich and famous doing it unless you are unbelievably lucky and have big boobies like Katy Perry (but not if your a man. I'd imagine the fan market for Katy Perry sized man boobies is not large)

with that in mind I went for option 2. YMMV
 
Evidently you get a hot chick to sing on it. Or Katy Perry. :(

Of couse YOUR definition of crap and the fans definition of crap and our definition of crap may be very different....
 
Only in the last few months have bands and businesses really started to take advantage of Facebook. The great thing about this platform is that when someone clicks the “Like” button, it appears on their news feed and most of their friends will see it. Journalists the world over scan the press releases to find something to write about. Regular press releases should definitely be issued whenever there is anything new to say. There should be a mailing list that people can sign up to from all online channels.

- hehe - I don't think Katy would dig my sounds so probably a wasted call anyway.

I will try viral video route. - I don't care about making money (from music) - but I would like it if people enjoyed the music I made.
 
I wear my sunglasses at night so....if I saw the number on the wall, I wouldn't have seen it anyway.
