How can i make this song less crappy?

Hey again.

I gave it a quick listen.
Sounds fine as a performance. You rap in time and sing in pitch! That's a huge part of it.

Vocals will definitely benefit from a good mic/interface as you said.
Do plenty of trial runs when that time comes, and make sure your levels are nowhere near peaking.
Distortion can't be undone, but quiet tracks can be turned up. :)

The other main thing I'd focus on is the density of the mix.
There's nothing wrong with what's there, but for me the verses need a driving rhythm.

As is, you have percussion, strings and vocals.
I'd wanna hear stabs on keys, or chugging guitar type sounds like you had in the second half of the intro.

Personal preference i guess, but I'd have the parts build up, rather than dropping them out when the vocals come in.

Keep it up. You've got a great start.
